Whoa — what happened? Last thing I remember, I was writing a post about Ron Artest. Or maybe it was that hot race car driving chick . Then all of the sudden I blacked out for a month or two.
Man, feel like that dude with the beard. Uh, what’s his name?
Rumplemintz?
You know who am talking about? I [...]

Well, it’s looking pretty grim in Dodgerwood. Just when it looked like ther Men in Blue were going to tie up the series, a little rally spoiled their hopes, and now they’re seriously on the ropes.
With that in mind, I’ve thought of a few things the Dodgers can do to beat the Phillies. So, without [...]

You have to admit, the two L.A. teams (including the one that’s not really L.A.) are looking pretty good right now. While they face a tough road to the World Series, we’re already thinking about the ways an LA-LA series would behoove us West Coasters. Here’s why:
* You can’t go wrong if you pick LA [...]

So I’m guessing the Monday Night Football ratings will be pretty good this week. You’ve got your age-old rivalry, two good teams, one undefeated team and uh . . .
Oh, yeah — Brett Favre playing against the Packers, his ex-team and the only NFL team he hasn’t beaten. So far, Favre’s having a great season, [...]

Well, there’s not going to be a 20-game winner this season.
As we approach the end of the Major League regular season, two pitchers have 19 victories – C.C. Sabathia of the Yanks and Adam Wainwright of the Cardinals — and neither of them are set to pitch Sunday. So for only the fourth time in a non-strike [...]

I can’t remember the last time seven NFL teams started out 3-0.
Maybe never. I suppose I could check, but then why. My point is, it’s interesting. In fact, only one division — the NFC West — does not have an undefeated team at the top. And that’s just weird.
So there’s some disparity in the divisions [...]

Is it me or does it seem like the Yankees and Red Sox play each other, like, 60 times during the regular season?
Seriously. Every time I tune into ESPN, they’re announcing their next game — and it’s the freakin’ Yankees and Red Sox!
Am I crazy here? The Yankees schedule at the beginning of the season must [...]

I’m gonna go out on a limb here.
No, actually — it’s not a limb. In fact – here, I’ll just say it: Peyton Manning is the best quarterback ever.
Period. ‘Nuf said.
Yeah, I know — it always seems like the current players are the best. And, yeah, let’s not forget the greats:. To name a few: Namath, [...]

So I had a good time at Dodger Stadium yesterday. Got to see a grand slam, back-to-back bombs and even Tommy Lasorda, if you count seeing the top of his head from, like, 20 rows up as actually seeing Tom Lasorda.
Anyway, I’m a big fan of going out to the ballpark — can’t get those [...]

Some times I can be such a woman.
Like, remember that time I wrote about how unbent visors annoy me?
What the hell was that all about?
And then that time I wrote about stirrups?
I’m a PC kinda guy and all, but back when I was in school, any guy writing about socks would clearly be called g-a-y. [...]
