Is there anything worse than the NFL Draft? ESPN hypes this thing like it is the second coming of Jesus Christ and the forty-seven anchors treat it like it is open mic night at the Apollo and make the same unfunny jokes every five seconds. Maybe it’s because I think the NFL is about as much fun as a good old fashioned skeet shoot but good god this is a colossal waste of time. With some half-way decent NBA Playoff action, an epic NY-BOS tilt in Fenway and now the Dodger game on ESPN is lucky if I’ve spent more than 5 minutes on this mess today. Oh, but at least on the up-side the Raiders continue to totally alienate their fanbase, so at least that’s fun.
This lady is a) pretty hot and b) writes a pretty funny blog so I would recommend you add this to the bookmark page. Tomorrow we’ve got more of the same with the possibility of less surf and more wind so set your calendars accordingly.

/ April 27, 2009The draft was pretty brutal this year. Maybe because I’m not in sports journalism anymore. In fact, I really didn’t care when Poly’s Ramses Barden was drafted by the New York Giants, to replace Burress. I mean really, who cares? I keep trying to get my buddy who’s a Raiders fan to blog on this thing, and he’s a die hard, but even he can’t stand the Raiders anymore. There’s a reason we don’t talk football on this site. There’s also a reason why we’re ranked No. One Million on the Search Engines. Maybe this NFL blog will help.
