Hi, I'm Andrew Miller...
...and I'm obviously the worst pitcher of all time. The Dodgers have averaged about 2.5 runs per game over their last 17 home games, but good lord did they ever jump on poor Andrew, putting up 6 in the first and adding another in the second before Miller was sent to the showers. He was so bad, in fact, that he gave up a walk AND an RBI single to Andruw Jones, who was fresh off his platinum sombrero trick last night. Apologies to everyone who spot started him in their fantasy leagues. The Phils were helpful enough to knock off the Diamondbacks earlier in the day, so if L.A. can hold on here they'll head into the All-Star break 3-games under .500 but only one-game back of the snakes. The bad news is they will likely be forced to start the second half minus the services of Takashi Saito, who is scheduled to have an MRI on his tender/sore/tight/broken right elbow tomorrow.
Late bit for today (unless Billingsley strikes out the rest of the Marlins, which looks increasingly likely): In Monday's HR Derby, Ryan Braun is going to have his agent on the mound soft tossing marshmallows his way. Anyone ever heard of that before?
